Rob began his career in a production environment, before fulfilling a range of international, customer facing engineering and managerial roles. His breadth of experience provided him with both a strong technical background and an understanding of the pressures faced by clients. His technical know-how and commercial appreciation allowed him to step into the role of Operations Director in 2009.
Day-to-day, Rob is accountable for ensuring customer requirements are effectively fulfilled, and work packages are delivered on time and to-budget. He works closely with engineers and managers throughout the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Mike has a keen eye for detail, and is regarded as the ‘Director of Smooth Running’ due to the oversight he provides throughout the busines. As Financial Director, Company Secretary and Quality Management Representative, Mike is accountable for all financial and regulatory matters.

Human Resources Director
Sarah joined WEC in 2010 as an Assistant Business Manager, upon graduating from Manchester Business School. Initially, she assisted with business administration and the development and implementation of the quality management system.
Sarah has steadily progressed through the ranks at WEC, promoting her interest in evolving business best-practices and overseeing the Business Team. In 2015, she supplemented her breadth of understanding with a MSc in Human Resource Management, and sought to put ‘people’ issues at the heart of our strategic operations.
In 2020 we formally welcomed Sarah to the board as Human Resources Director, although she remains comfortable dipping into other commercial, financial and regulatory matters.
