WEC is pleased to announce that further to the UK work package award, the WEC-Ferchau partnership has also been selected as sole preferred supplier of systems engineering services in the Fuel and Inerting Systems domain of Airbus in Spain.
Following a competitive supplier selection process, Airbus has selected WEC acting through our tier-1 supplier Ferchau Engineering GmbH as sole preferred supplier of systems engineering services in the Fuel and Inerting Systems domain of Airbus in the UK, covering development of all Airbus Types as well as Research and Technology.
WEC’s Dave Bradshaw and Duncan Woods will be presenting a talk on Water Management and Ice Formation in Aircraft Fuel Systems for the IMechE in Manchester on the evening of Tuesday 3rd November. We will look at the causes behind the accident to Flight BA38 at Heathrow in January 2008 and cover the state of the art in water management and the latest understanding of ice accretion and release in fuel systems.
