Woodford Engineering Consultancy had the pleasure of welcoming Andrew Stephenson MP, Minister for Business and Industry and our local MP Mary Robinson to our offices this morning for them to learn about WEC, our history, operations and outlook. This was a welcome opportunity to express our perspective on the strategic challenges facing the British aerospace industry, directly into government.
Woodford Engineering Consultancy will be exhibiting at the Paris Air Show from 17th to 20th June. Visit us in Hall 2b on the NWAA stand F172. We hope to see you there.

WEC is pleased to announce that we are now accredited to the Cyber Essentials scheme. Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats and demonstrate commitment to cyber security.
WEC is pleased to announce that following a re-accreditation process to the latest requirements, we continue with full accreditation to the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR).
JOSCAR is the accreditation system for the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors, allowing suppliers to demonstrate that they are “fit for business”. The system was initiated by ADS and includes a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers. The accreditation process includes verification of company capability, quality assurance, information security, business continuity, insurance, financial health and ethical operations.
