Systems Design & Integration
Systems integration is the process by which aircraft systems and equipment are designed, developed and interfaced with aircraft systems and structure. Systems must be optimised in terms of aircraft performance, cost of ownership, operability, maintainability, production cost, safety and reliability.
This activity necessitates whole-aircraft experience and demands a broad and deep understanding of all facets of aircraft design, performance and operation, spanning multiple engineering disciplines. With decades of OEM experience directly interfacing with aircraft operators, certification authorities and equipment suppliers, systems integration is a skill in which WEC engineers excel.
