Woodford Engineering Consultancy (UK) Ltd is a dynamic company providing Systems Engineering services to the Aerospace Industry. Our principal activities are design, development, qualification and in-service support of aircraft systems as well as involvement in related research projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the initial set-up and running of our new office in the Bristol area, functioning as part of the Senior Management Team. WEC requires all employees to operate with integrity and promotes a flexible and personable approach. It is essential that this ethos is extended to our new office.
The role requires the candidate to demonstrate relevant managerial experience and achievement, together with commercial awareness and project management skills.
Duties will include managing all local business functions with a particular focus on people, programme and operations, interfacing with customers at all levels.
The successful candidate must be flexible, self-motivated and a good communicator on every level. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in the aerospace industry.

We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated engineers to join our highly experienced team to support a global aerospace customer. Positions are available in the hydro-mechanical and control and indication disciplines at our new offices in Bristol.
Candidates must have a good degree in a relevant discipline as well as excellent oral and written communication skills and 5+ years relevant industrial experience.
